In my umpteenth story revamp, I have decided that I will work with a hockey theme since I like hockey so much.

The league is supposed to resemble the NHL of the mid 1970's or so. Without using actual team names, logos, or actual cities. Colors, yes.

The teams represented in this image are, from left to right:
Top Row, Eastern Conference, North Division:
York Lions, Kingsbury Comets, Brewistown Blades (note, the black ought to be blue here, but I screwed up when inking), Victoria War Eagles
Bottom Row, Western Conference, Central Division:
St. Croix Oaks, Diamond Falls Gems, Sulville Jazz, Montgomery Thunder

Some names and logos are supposed to lseem older than others, like that team has been around longer and not changed the logo a whole lot.

Also, if placed on a map of North America, the cities would correspond approximately to these real cities (in order that the fake ones were listed):
